Attention: Journalism Students and Advisers
The JACC board has set the amount of scholarships to be awarded at $3,000.
There are two $750 scholarships that will be awarded to two outstanding applicants in the names of Warren Mack and Art Margosian (these two scholarships can be for either a transfer or a continuing student).
The remaining scholarships will be awarded in the name of the JACC’s Distinguished Service to Journalism Education Award.
- $500 scholarships will be awarded to students who plan to transfer to an accredited university.
- $100 Scholarships will be awarded to students who plan to continue their education at a community college in the fall.
This year scholarships will be awarded to the students at the keynote presentation at the 2014 JACC State Convention in Burbank, Calif. on Thursday, April 3, 2014.

Download and complete the 2013-14 scholarship application form. Application packages should be typed and emailed no later than 11:59 p.m. March 10, 2014.
